Yo! Haven been updating this blog for days already. Haha, finally i got my pictures uploaded, and im here again, posting :)
We have 2 december babies in our family. Mama and I :) & it's only difference by 2 days.
Mama on the 4th, and me on the 6th. Hehs.
But sadly, Mama wasnt able to spend her bday with us on the 4th :( So, we celebrated hers in advance >> on the 3rd :]
Ibakedmade a cake for her(us), it's a shared birthday cake. Hehs!

& finally, Chilled Orange Yoghurt Cakeyy!

Not bad huh? :) It's my first time making a chilled cake.
& i did it myself w/o the help of mummy. heh, mummy likes the cake altho it wasnt as successful as i thought(the bottom layer screwed when i get the cake out of the baking tin). Well, the bottom layer however, tasted the nicest. i guess it's because of the melted butter, yay. i wanna bake the next time round, have to try something new :)
& After that, we headed to Chinatown. We wanted to go Maxwell again initially, but ended up at People's park complex& people's park food centre. Mama says that it just renovated not long ago, and there's lots of yummylicious stuff. So, we settled down.
Mama, i want xiao long bao leh! ~
I told mama after seeing that almost every table has the similar kind of bamboo basket. So, i went to queue up at the stall,Tian Jin Fong Kee . & ta da!
I kind of notice that, im sort of, attracted to Xiaolongbao(s)! Everytime when i visit those dimsum stalls, i would ask for XiaoLongBao(s) as well. Lol, eateries&restaurants too!
So, it's piping hot Xiaolongbao(s)! 8 for 6bucks. It's cheap and tasty.
The xiaolongbaos here is tastier than those i tried at the foodfair, fortunate restaurant and cq hotpot. Well i guess its because TianjinFongKee is specialized in these Baos, dumplings and such.
YummyDummy went there for their Xiaolongbaos as well. Yups, read yummy's post and you'll know the xiaolongbaos are really good. I particularly like the soup in the xlb!
We ordered other food as well. There's Carrotcake, Icekachang & Wen Tou Xue (i dont know the english name to it). Hah. I like the Wen Tou Xue a lot. Cos, there's my fave Jelly! & peach as well as sago in it.

The Icekachang wasnt that good. There's only red bean & grass jelly at the bottom. No other stuff already :(
The carrotcake was not bad. Haha, we ordered white one, as we had black one for breakfast that morning already! :D

Hello Zn! The cake looks delicious! Haha you should have greased the bottom of the pan so it comes off easily. It's okay, we learn from mistakes and improve, ya? Anyway, my sis and I are thinking of setting up a food blog as well (once we've come up with a name, that is!) :D
